#ApeachTheExplorer

Earlier this year, #MakinoThePinkBear left the bag and took the chance to be forever outdoors.  Had it with me for quite some time—four years of searching for a good spot; she’s last seen at Lambingan Hills, Rizal, Philippines (see photo below).

MIMI + ME just got inked!

DESIGN

Way back September 10, 2014.—when I’m not engaged on my smartphone, scribbling is what I do to pass time.  Then I suddenly realized my initials J and G are on the treble clef that I have drawn   * also added some musical notes …pardon me but I thought they’d look great , haha*

yesI kept this sketch until now for my reference!

Jamaica Gacuan

If not on my 25th birthday, I planned to have the session before 2016 bids adieu No pressure , right? 😂 #parangdeadline
PLACEMENT and SIZE

The toughest for me; back, thigh or ankle.Since I don’t want to traumatize myself,  I opted for the smallest version of my chosen design on my right foot beside my ankle bone (but where’s the BONE? )

PAIN

So who went first? There’s no denying that I have LOW pain tolerance. But I don’t want to prolong my agony, and so I pretended to be fearless!

The moment those scary needles touched my skin, the traffic jam in my head disappeared. It wasnt that bad at all, even told Mimi that ingrown removal is more painful than getting a tattoo 🙃😉😱 attagirl! What a relief!

This work of art is originally a watercolor tattoo , but since the artist’s inks were limited; no pink, blue and purple 😶  we decided to still proceed and maybe sooner or later consider adding the colors 🤔😐

Let me know if you wanna see the original design 🤗 and I’ll post it here, or DM/PM to you. 😉

Quarter of a century old

Not that old, but older than yesterday.

Gone are those days of my easy life (O.A) . I just celebrated my 25 years being evicted from my mother’s womb. I won’t deny living in there is absolutely stress-free compared to my life now, adulting101 is so hard! Some things get harder and some easier; yes there are more RESPONSIBILITIES but on the brighter side, I’m now able to explore and do NEW things. Yay! 😂😱

#makinothepinkbear
My mind wanders (like it usually does), I know I must focus on my goal and that’s to do the best I can (on everything); life is tough we all know but it can get even tougher when you don’t enjoy.  I’m on track (fingers crossed) and taking each step seriously –but at my own pace and I don’t mind if I’m going slow as I know I can do everything. Persistence and prayers will do the magic.

Desolation

Into a standstill she’s caught

“Is she okay?” no one has thought.

Glitters coming out of her windows

Glass left broken by the forceful shadows

There was screaming ‘mong the room of unknown

Blurry memories, ancient wounds and thorns were thrown.

She’s lost half of everything,

No, don’t sacrifice your heart as an offering.

Soon, smiles she will again flash

For the moment, let her heart and mind end their clash.

[Family] Birthday Surprises…

Surprise! It got them like a pink fart, slowly spreading and intoxicating their senses.

Lo and behold! Balloons everywhere and happiness in the air! See part one and part two! 😉

Part 1

Birthday: August 12

A favor from her significant other, we pulled off and succeeded in this surprise. Just a piece of cake since my sister works during Saturdays. Weeks before her natal day, I got to plan smoothly, no rush on the timeline. Attacked every cakes and pastries shop I know and ended up on one of my favorites—Cukay’s. I know I can never go wrong on their cupcake’s quality since the day I bought and gobbled a piece of their heaven. Knowing my sister when it comes to food, she certainly won’t have any idea about me asking her what flavor of cake is the best: Red velvet or chocolate? She replied– RED VELVET.

Balloons, a dozen of red roses (as instructed) and random treats were bought on her birthday, thanks to my superman who’s been very supportive on this “project smile” 😉

It was around 6PM and we were all waiting for her arrival. As she headed upstairs and saw the surprise in our room, appreciation was heard; only meant that our mission was successfully accomplished!

Cheers!

Here’s some photos of my sister’s birthday surprise.

Part 2

Birthday: October 04

Mom’s 50th birthday.
